Editing your video

Group videos into projects

Your videos are listed in the sidebar under Videos, newest first. On a phone, or in any narrow window, the sidebar is a bar of buttons across the top: tap the list button, Videos, for the same list. To keep related videos together, put them in a project: a named group, like a folder.

Click the folder button with a plus sign beside Videos (New project), type a name and press Enter. On a phone, it’s the New project button at the top of the Videos page.

Any of these works, even while the video is being made:

  • Drag the video onto the project in the sidebar.
  • On the video’s page, choose the project from the folder menu next to its address. It says No project until you pick one.
  • When you make a new video, choose the project from the same menu beside Create video.

Clicking New video while you’re looking at a video in a project starts the new one in that same project.

The project menus show up once you have at least one project. A video can be in one project at a time. To take a video out of its project, drag it out onto the list of videos, or choose No project.

Click the … button on the project, then Rename, or Delete and then Delete project to confirm. Deleting a project keeps its videos: they go back to the list, outside any project.

  • You can have up to 200 projects, with names up to 60 characters.
  • Dragging needs a mouse. On a phone, choose the project from the menu on the video’s page instead.
