How long videos are kept

Everything you make is kept for as long as your trial or plan is running. When it ends, you have 30 days to download your videos or start your plan again. After that, everything you made in SayScreen is deleted.

What happens when a plan or trial ends

1. When it ends, you get an email: Your SayScreen videos are kept until (the date).
2. For the next 30 days, signing in shows Your plan has ended, the date, and your videos with a Download button each.
3. 7 days before the date, a second email: Your SayScreen videos will be deleted on (the date).
4. Once that date is over, everything you made is deleted.

Starting your plan again before the date calls it all off, and everything stays as it was.

A cancelled plan or trial doesn’t end until its end date, so the 30 days start then.

What gets deleted

• your videos, with their recordings, captions, titles and thumbnails
• saved sign-ins to sites
• Discovery runs and their video ideas
• voices you made from your own recordings
• backgrounds you uploaded
• your projects

Your account itself stays, so you can sign in and start again any time. Deleted videos can’t be brought back.

Keep copies

Download what you want to keep while your plan is running, from each video’s page (Download MP4, Captions (.srt) and, on the Title & thumbnail tab, Download thumbnail). After the plan ends, the videos themselves can still be downloaded until the date, but not their captions or thumbnails. See Download your video.
